Boy tells doctor he doesn't feel safe at home: When mother hears reason, it dawns on her

USA - Oh, how unpleasant: Last week, Kama Menter was sitting with her son (3) at the pediatrician when the little one suddenly told the doctor that he didn't feel safe at home.

After the embarrassing moment, the US-American came forward in a TikTok video to clear up the curious story.

"He told the doctor that he didn't feel safe at home because someone named 'Troy' was in our house," the mother said in the clip.

Again, in an interview with Newsweek, she explained about the doctor's reaction, "He didn't voice his concern out loud, he just looked at us questioningly."

Her son had then gone on to explain that his five-year-old brother had to protect him and that the only way he could do anything in the house was to hit Troy.

The question of all questions now, of course, is: Who is Troy?

Actually, the question should be: What is Troy? Because it's the family's robot vacuum cleaner, which apparently terrifies the three-year-old on a daily basis.

"He hates Troy," his mother sums it up in an interview with the US magazine. When she realized what her son meant by that, she could only laugh.

"We technically named our Roomba after a man from a show called 'Port Protection Alaska' on Disney Plus that we watch," says Menter. The doctor was reassured the moment she enlightened him, she said.

What remains is her video, which has been going through the roof since last week. The clip, in which she tells the story sitting in a car, has already received 6.6 million clicks and more than 500,000 likes.

This is also due to the fact that many parents can identify with the story, sharing similar anecdotes in the comments section.

Children simply have a talent for seeing things in a completely different light.
